Job summary

Las Vegas Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Spring Valley is seeking a detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team. This part-time role handles washers/dryers and maintains cleanliness of linens and facilities.

We offer daily pay, competitive pay, and benefits including medical, vision, dental, 401k with profit sharing, and paid vacation. Ideal candidates have 6 months to 1+ year of similar experience and can stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Sorts linen and treats stains.
• Loads washer and adds detergent.
• Transports and dries articles after washing.
• Sorts dried articles by type.
• Folds and places items in correct locations.
• Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies and linens.
• Maintains laundry equipment and reports maintenance needs.
• All other duties as assigned.

SUMMARY

Tends laundering machines to clean articles such as rags, towels, and bedding by performing the following duties.

QUALIFICATIONS

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Sorts all linen and separate and treats allstains
• Loads articles into washer and adds specified amount of detergent, soap, or other cleaningagent
• Lifts clean, wet articles from washer and places them successively into dryers for measures timecycles
• Sorts dried articles according totype
• Folds and places items in appropriatelocations
• Handles contaminated articles per company, franchise, and OSHAstandards
• MaintainstheinventoryofcleaningsuppliesandlinensandensurestheGeneralManagerisawareofany inventoryneeds
• Maintains all laundry equipment and informs appropriate personnel of any maintenanceneeds
• All other duties as assigned
