Job summary

Tharaldson Hospitality is hiring a Laundry Attendant for a part-time role in San Bernardino, CA. The position involves operating washing and drying equipment, handling linens, and maintaining supplies to support housekeeping operations.

Wage range is $17.00 to $19.00 per hour, BOE, with benefits including daily pay and family medical options based on status. Prior laundry experience is preferred, and candidates should be able to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Preferably 6 months – 1+ year of similar experience
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to clean areas as directed by supervisor

Responsibilities

• Tends laundering machines to clean articles such as rags, towels, and bedding by performing the following duties.
• Sorts all linen and separates and treats all stains
• Loads articles into washer and adds specified amount of detergent, soap, or other cleaning agent
• Lifts clean, wet articles from washer and places them into dryers
• Sorts dried articles according to type
• Folds and places items in appropriate locations
• Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies and linens and informs the General Manager of needs
• Maintains all laundry equipment and informs appropriate personnel of maintenance needs
• All other duties as assigned

SUMMARY

Tends laundering machines to clean articles such as rags, towels, and bedding by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Sorts all linen and separate and treats all stains

• Lifts clean, wet articles from washer and places them successively into dryers for measures time cycles
• Sorts dried articles according to type
• Folds and places items in appropriate locations
• Handles contaminated articles per company, franchise, and OSHA standards
• Maintains the inventory of cleaning supplies and linens and ensures the General Manager is aware of any inventory needs
• Maintains all laundry equipment and informs appropriate personnel of any maintenance needs
• All other duties as assigned
