Job summary

Niles Hampton Inn by Hilton in Niles, OH is hiring a Laundry Attendant to support daily hotel operations. The role involves operating laundering machines, sorting and processing linen and towels, and ensuring timely delivery to housekeeping and other departments.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Tends laundering machines to clean towels, linens and rags
• Loads articles into washers with detergent
• Moves cleaned items to dryers and dries for specified cycles
• Sorts dried articles and folds for storage
• Maintains inventory of laundry supplies and notifies management of needs
• Maintains laundry equipment and reports maintenance needs
• All other duties as assigned

SUMMARY

Tends laundering machines to clean articles such as rags, towels, and bedding by performing the following duties.

QUALIFICATIONS

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Sorts all linen and separate and treats allstains
• Loads articles into washer and adds specified amount of detergent, soap, or other cleaningagent
• Lifts clean, wet articles from washer and places them successively into dryers for measures timecycles
• Sorts dried articles according totype
• Folds and places items in appropriatelocations
• Handles contaminated articles per company, franchise, and OSHAstandards
• MaintainstheinventoryofcleaningsuppliesandlinensandensurestheGeneralManagerisawareofany inventoryneeds
• Maintains all laundry equipment and informs appropriate personnel of any maintenanceneeds
• All other duties as assigned
