Job summary

Courtyard Marriott Downtown El Paso is seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. You will wash, dry, fold, sort, and distribute hotel linens while maintaining high cleanliness and efficiency standards.

The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, able to work independently, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Previous hotel or laundry experience is preferred, with training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel or laundry experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Reliable and punctual with excellent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens and towels.
• Operate commercial washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely.
• Inspect linens and towels for stains, damage, or excessive wear.
• Properly separate items according to color, fabric, and washing requirements.
• Fold and organize clean linens according to hotel standards.
• Maintain adequate supplies of clean linens for the Housekeeping department.
• Deliver clean linen and towels to designated housekeeping areas.
• Collect and transport soiled linen from designated areas.
• Keep the laundry room clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Maintain laundry equipment and report mechanical problems or malfunctions immediately.
• Use laundry chemicals according to manufacturer instructions and hotel safety procedures.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures.
• Monitor linen inventory and report shortages or damaged items.
• Assist Housekeeping with special laundry projects when needed.
• Support Room Attendants and House Aides with linen and supply requests.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper or supervisor.
