Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott Downtown El Paso is seeking a dependable Lobby Attendant to help maintain a clean, welcoming environment for guests. The role includes cleaning and sanitizing public areas, restrooms, and meeting spaces while upholding brand standards and providing courteous service.

The position requires reliability, punctuality, and strong customer service. You should be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 pounds, with flexibility to work weekends and holidays in a full-time capacity.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or hotel experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain the hotel lobby, public restrooms, hallways, elevators, meeting spaces, and other public areas.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, sweep, and sanitize all assigned areas throughout each shift.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.
• Clean glass doors, windows, mirrors, and other high-touch surfaces.
• Restock restroom supplies, including soap, paper towels, tissue, and other amenities.
• Monitor public areas for cleanliness and safety hazards and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Assist housekeeping with special cleaning projects as assigned.
• Maintain housekeeping storage areas in a clean and organized manner.
• Respond promptly to guest requests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Follow all hotel safety procedures, chemical handling guidelines, and OSHA standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper or General Manager.
