Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott Downtown El Paso is seeking a dependable Lobby Attendant to maintain a clean public environment and greet guests with a welcoming attitude. You will support housekeeping to sustain high Marriott standards and ensure a pleasant first impression for all visitors.

The role requires strong customer service, attention to detail, reliability, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays. On-site, you will stand, walk, and lift up to 40 pounds as needed to keep public areas

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or hotel experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain the hotel lobby, public restrooms, hallways, elevators, meeting spaces, and other public areas.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, sweep, and sanitize all assigned areas throughout each shift.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.
• Clean glass doors, windows, mirrors, and other high-touch surfaces.
• Restock restroom supplies, including soap, paper towels, tissue, and other amenities.
• Monitor public areas for cleanliness and safety hazards and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Assist housekeeping with special cleaning projects as assigned.
• Maintain housekeeping storage areas in a clean and organized manner.
• Respond promptly to guest requests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Follow all hotel safety procedures, chemical handling guidelines, and OSHA standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper or General Manager.
