Yona Solutions is seeking a Laundry Aide to join our team. This role supports residents and staff by washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and clothing, while maintaining a clean, organized laundry area.

No prior experience is required but preferred; candidates must be able to follow instructions, work independently, and pass a background check. Training is provided, with benefits and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Follow written and oral instructions concerning cleaning compounds and disinfectants.
• Ability to work independently and with residents and staff.
• Flexibility, integrity and a strong work ethic; background check required.

Responsibilities

• Transport laundry containers and carts for soiled and clean linen.
• Operate commercial washing machines and dryers.
• Sort and load linens for washing and drying.
• Fold and place clean linen into carts.
• Keep records of linen inventory accurately.
• Wash, dry, fold and distribute customer clothing.
• Maintain laundry areas and equipment, keeping them neat and safe.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Check stock and notify supervisor of supplies.
• Deliver laundry as specified to residents and staff.
• Provide high-quality customer service in a caring environment.

Responsibilities:

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers
• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers
• Proceeds to fold clean, dry linen and place into clean carts
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory
• Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing
• Maintains equipment and the laundry areas, cleans and keeps areas in a neat orderly and safe manner
• Follows all company policies and procedures
• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs
• Delivers laundry as specified
• Puts Customer Service First: Ensures that customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individual's needs and rights

Requirements:

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc
• Ability to work independently
• Possess flexibility, integrity, and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively with the residents and personnel
• Must provide a criminal background check
• Laundry experience is a plus
