Job summary

Yona Solutions is seeking a friendly Laundry Aide to join our team. Our residents rely on clean linens and timely service delivered with warmth and care.

Experience is not required, but preferred. You will operate commercial washers/dryers, sort and fold linens, and maintain tidy laundry areas while following company policies. We value reliability, integrity, and excellent customer service for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Follow written and oral instructions concerning cleaning chemicals and processes.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexible, with integrity and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Transport laundry containers of soiled and clean linen.
• Operate commercial washing machines and dryers.
• Sort and load linens into washers and into dryers.
• Fold clean linen and place into carts or shelves.
• Maintain accurate linen inventory records.
• Wash, dry, fold and distribute customer clothing.
• Keep laundry areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Check stock and notify supervisor of supply needs.
• Deliver laundry as specified.
• Provide high-quality service with warmth and care.

Responsibilities:

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers
• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers
• Proceeds to fold clean, dry linen and place into clean carts
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory
• Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing
• Maintains equipment and the laundry areas, cleans and keeps areas in a neat orderly and safe manner
• Follows all company policies and procedures
• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs
• Delivers laundry as specified
• Puts Customer Service First: Ensures that customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individual's needs and rights

Requirements:

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc
• Ability to work independently
• Possess flexibility, integrity, and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively with the residents and personnel
• Must provide a criminal background check
• Laundry experience is a plus
