Yona is hiring a Laundry Aide in Minnesota to maintain clean linen and support a warm, friendly environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Your role focuses on reliable service and attention to detail in daily laundry tasks.

No prior experience is required; on-the-job training provided. You will operate commercial washers/dryers, sort and fold linens, manage inventory, and deliver clean items with courteous, compassionate care to residents and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Follow instructions for mixing cleaning chemicals.
• Work independently.
• Flexible, with integrity and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work well with residents and staff.
• Criminal background check required.
• Laundry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts.
• Operate commercial washing machines and dryers.
• Sort and load soiled linen into washers and load clean, wet linens into dryers.
• Fold clean, dry linen and place into clean carts.
• Keep accurate records of linen inventory.
• Wash, dry, fold, and distribute customer clothing.
• Maintain equipment and laundry areas, keeping them neat, orderly, and safe.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Check stock and notify supervisor of supply needs.
• Deliver laundry as specified.
• Put Customer Service First: Ensure that customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere that recognizes the individual's needs and rights

Requirements

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc.
• Ability to work independently
• Possess flexibility, integrity, and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively with the residents and personnel
• Must provide a criminal background check
• Laundry experience is a plus
