Yona Solutions in Pocahontas, AR is seeking a Laundry Aide to join our caring team. You will handle laundry tasks for residents, transport linens, operate washers and dryers, and keep areas clean and organized.

Experience is not required but preferred; training is provided. You will contribute to a warm, respectful environment and help ensure quality service for residents, visitors, and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning mixing of cleaning compounds and disinfectants
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Flexibility, integrity and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work well with residents and personnel
• Criminal background check required
• Laundry experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Transport laundry containers of soiled and clean linen
• Operate commercial washing machines and dryers
• Sort and load laundry into washers and dryers
• Fold and distribute clean linen
• Maintain linen inventory records
• Wash, dry, fold and distribute customer clothing
• Keep laundry areas clean and safe
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Check stock and notify supervisor of supply needs
• Deliver laundry as specified
• Provide high quality service in a compassionate atmosphere

Responsibilities:

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers
• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers
• Proceeds to fold clean, dry linen and place into clean carts
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory
• Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing
• Maintains equipment and the laundry areas, cleans and keeps areas in a neat orderly and safe manner
• Follows all company policies and procedures
• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needsDelivers laundry as specified
• Puts Customer Service First: Ensures that customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individual's needs and rights

Requirements:
