Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables is seeking a TOP Wind Technician Level 1 to join the Tech One Program. You will receive exclusive safety and technical training through the Global Wind Organization and work at wind sites near home as part of a service team.

This entry-level role emphasizes safety, hands-on mechanical and electrical work, and growth into a skilled technician. Travel up to 25% is possible, with a comprehensive benefits package and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driverrs license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire
• Associate’s degree in a technical mechanical field, wind energy discipline, or equivalent technical experience
• Mechanical or electrical background
• Ability to read and interpret basic diagrams and wiring schematics

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following established procedures
• Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipment
• Accurately document all work performed
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures
• Willing to travel up to 25%
