Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables is seeking a TOP Wind Service Technician as part of the Tech One Program. You will receive exclusive safety and technical training accredited through GWO and work at wind sites near home as part of a service team ensuring safe, efficient turbine maintenance.

You will report to the Program Manager and Site Manager, performing preventive, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance on wind turbine equipment, with training across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (Sky Climber does not provide sponsorships).
• Must live within 1-hour commuting distance to job site unless relocating.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following established procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely.
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipment.
