Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables is seeking a Wind Technician Level 1 under the TOP Wind Service Technician program. You will receive world-class safety and technical training through GWO and support a service team at a local wind site.

The role focuses on preventive, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance on turbine equipment, with emphasis on safe operation, documentation, and collaboration with field technicians. On-site work with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States ( Sky Climber does not provide sponsorships )
• Must live within 1-hour commuting distance to job site unless relocating
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a MVR check
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following established procedures
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipment
• Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely
• Accurately document all work performed
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures
