Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Manager (Launch Vehicle Electronic Systems) in Hawthorne, CA. The role drives production flow, supplier collaboration, and cost strategies to enable rapid growth and reliable launch readiness.

You will work with engineering and manufacturing to ensure prototype builds, NPI, and ongoing production meet timelines and quality targets, while leading procurement activities and supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree and 3+ years of experience in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, or material/production planning.
• Experience in material or production planning and supply chain management.
• Master production scheduling knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develops sourcing and cost management strategies to support existing platforms and new product development.
• Evaluate feasibility and vendor capabilities for prototypes and production.
• Lead cross-functional efforts with engineering and manufacturing to optimize production flow.
• Own and manage POs, on-time delivery, and supplier performance.
• Guide junior staff and provide strategic support as needed.
