Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of experience in purchasing, material or production planning, operations or supply chain management, or material cost control.
• Alternate: 4+ years in one or more of these areas.

Aufgaben

• Plan and lead end-to-end sourcing strategies with metrics to drive production success.
• Maintain accurate configuration of assemblies (BOMs).
• Ensure accurate lead times and inventory levels to mitigate shortages.
• Facilitate make-vs-buy decisions and new product introductions.
• Conduct should-cost modeling for PO issuance and execution.
• Conduct risk management using data, demand vs. supply, and lead-time analysis.
• Optimize logistics, manufacturing, quality, and redistribution policies.
• Support supplier facility visits to meet cost, quality and delivery goals.
• Lead initiatives to improve performance with supply chain teams.
• Be the go-to resource for stakeholders on sourcing and lead-time optimization.
• Build cross-functional teams and champion continuous improvement.
• Provide status updates to SpaceX management and engineering teams on critical supply issues.
• Conduct design for manufacturability reviews with suppliers and engineering teams.
• Champion value engineering to improve part quality and reduce cost.
• Execute supplier bid-list processes with preferred suppliers.
• Mitigate sole/single source risk and ensure continuity of supply.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships and assess capability and risk.
• Place POs for MRP signals and resolve PO discrepancies.
