Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in Seattle area is seeking an Avionics Systems Integrator II to own deployment of Avionics for New Glenn. You will develop CONOPS, safety artifacts, and system specifications while coordinating with test, launch, and autonomous flight teams.

The role requires 5+ years of avionics experience, hands-on testing, and the ability to work with evolving requirements while communicating across engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years experience with Avionics operations for launch systems.
• Hands-on experience with integrated tests or operating launch vehicles.
• Ability to work with evolving requirements and criteria.
• Experience with analyses and trade studies for avionics systems.

Responsibilities

• Build detailed CONOPS for pre-launch and flight operations.
• Define safety artifacts such as FHA/Allocations, FMECA, fault trees.
• Define Avionics system specifications and verify with other teams.
• Set constraints for end-to-end safe handling and launch operations.
• Collaborate with test, launch ops, and flight operations teams on constraints.
• Provide real-time anomaly resolution during testing and launch operations.
