Job summary

Blue Origin in Merritt Island, FL, is seeking a Systems Integrator for New Glenn avionics to own deployment, CONOPS, and lifecycle requirements. You will work with stage-level leads to define constraints and verification reports, ensuring safe, compliant operations on flight vehicles.

The role demands hands-on experience with integrated tests, launch vehicles, and cross-functional communication across Electrical, Software, Mechanical teams.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree or equivalent experience in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years validated experience with avionics operations for launch systems.
• Hands-on experience in developing, authoring, and implementing integrated tests or operating launch vehicles.
• Ability to work with partially defined requirements and changing criteria.
• Experience developing analyses and trade studies for avionics systems.
• Able to explain complex engineering concepts to multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Build CONOPS for pre-launch and flight operations.
• Define safety artifacts and verification reports for avionics.
• Define end-to-end constraints for safe handling and testing.
• Collaborate with teams to incorporate operational constraints into procedures and flight plans.
• Provide real-time anomaly resolution during tests and launches.
