Job summary

Blue Origin in Washington state is seeking a software-hardware integrator for the New Glenn program. You will join a small team supporting avionics integration from labs to vehicle, develop tools, and enable efficient production and test.

The role requires a BS in engineering, avionics experience, Linux and networking knowledge, and the ability to troubleshoot under pressure. Some travel and potential after-hours support may be required; US citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance

Qualifications

• Minimum of a BS in Engineering or related field.
• Experience with avionics analyses for complex systems.
• Linux administration and Ethernet networking experience.
• Familiar with software configuration control.
• Ability to troubleshoot under time pressure.
• Ability to work with evolving requirements.
• Strong cross-disciplinary communication.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Must obtain US security clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Represent Avionics as liaison between engineering and integration environments.
• Interface with Avionics customers and software to drive updates to systems and tooling.
• Serve as first-line support for the NG SOS hotline across multiple subsystems.
• Own and maintain production software configuration tools and related docs.
• Support end-to-end deployment of software processes and tooling.
• Rehearse integration activities in HIL prior to production.
• Develop and maintain troubleshooting guides and operator training materials.
• Participate in ESR staffing for New Glenn operations as scheduled.
• Track issue disposition and feed lessons learned to teams.
• Provide after-hours/on-call support during surge events and launches.
