Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a hands-on Launch & Test Engineer for the Orbital Launch Site in Cape Canaveral, FL. You will test, inspect, and troubleshoot ground support equipment and test hardware for New Glenn systems, with exposure to cryogenic and high-pressure test environments.

You will collaborate with design, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure readiness for launches and tests while supporting safety and process improvements. This is a challenging role with evolving shift patterns.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering or related field.
• Experience with automated console procedures for live test operations.
• Real-time console operations and anomaly response.
• Knowledge of test readiness and safety for ground systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, construct, operate, and maintain test facilities for orbital rockets and launch vehicle systems.
• Generate and execute procedures for high-pressure gas, cryogenic, and fluid systems.
• Lead test operations with technicians and inspect/test articles.
• Review test data and ensure facility health at system and component levels.
• Maintain test documentation, work instructions, and inspection plans.
