Job summary

Syneos Health is launching a rare disease GI/Hepatology team. The Territory Business Manager will achieve/exceed sales goals in an assigned geography, develop territory strategies, and build professional relationships with physicians to communicate therapeutic value.

The role requires 5+ years pharma/biopharma sales, GI/Hepatology or rare disease experience, strong analytical skills, autonomy, and travel ability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business or a related field required.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience.
• 3+ years of GI/Hepatology sales experience/rare disease preferred.
• Consistent track record of top-tier sales accomplishments.
• Experience calling on Gastroenterologists/Hepatologists in the territory preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve/exceed targeted sales goals in assigned territory with an integrated business plan.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with targeted physicians.
• Succeed in a matrixed selling environment requiring cross-functional collaboration.
• Collaborate with FRMs, TLLs, Market Access, Medical, Marketing and Operations teams.
• Identify key influencers and manage designated customer interactions.
• Utilize data and next best action tools to guide strategies and decisions.
• Demonstrate account-based selling with group presentations and outreach.
• Plan territory coverage and manage the territory budget.
• Complete administrative tasks and adhere to company policies.
