Job summary

Compass Pathways is seeking a Therapeutic Sales Specialist to drive adoption of an innovative mental health therapy at certified treatment centers within a defined territory. This field-based role requires strong clinical education, account management, and patient access expertise.

You will travel up to 70% and collaborate with psychiatrists and healthcare providers to shape a new treatment ecosystem in mental health, reporting to the Regional Sales Director.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5–8+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience, preferably in specialty or complex therapeutic areas.
• Experience in psychiatry, CNS, or behavioral health markets is preferred.
• Experience with medical and pharmacy benefit reimbursement and payer processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute territory-level commercial strategy to support launch and uptake of the therapy.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with psychiatrists, treatment centers, and behavioral health systems.
• Deliver scientifically accurate, compliant education to healthcare providers.
• Identify appropriate patients and support providers in referral pathways.
• Collaborate with certified treatment sites to support onboarding and treatment workflows.
• Navigate site-of-care dynamics, including scheduling and patient flow.
• Partner with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Support, and Commercial Operations for coordinated execution.
• Support patient access by understanding reimbursement pathways and addressing access challenges.
• Gather field insights to inform brand strategy and patient journey.
• Manage territory business planning, call planning, and performance tracking.
• Demonstrate ethical, compliant, and patient-centric engagements.
