Job summary

BMO is seeking a Branch Manager in Los Angeles to lead the launch of a new De Novo branch. You will recruit and develop a high-performing team, drive client growth, and cultivate community relationships from day one.

You will guide sales and service activities, ensure regulatory compliance, and align branch plans with BMO's business objectives, balancing customer focus with profitability in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of retail banking products and services.
• Knowledge of branch operations, policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Guide and coach employees to deliver exceptional service to customers.
• Develop and execute a branch business plan to maximize growth and wallet share.
• Proactively prospect customers through cold calls to build new relationships.
• Build a community network to enhance Bank visibility and referrals.
• Lead sales and service initiatives to meet customer experience and profitability goals.
• Monitor performance, identify gaps, and implement action plans to close them.
