Job summary

BMO is expanding with a DeNovo branch opportunity, seeking a Bank Manager to lead from day one. You will recruit, coach, and inspire a team to deliver outstanding service while driving client growth and local market share.

You will shape the branch culture, collaborate with partners, and develop strategies to optimize profitability and customer experience. Regulatory requirements and risk management are integral to your daily decisions.

Qualifications

Typically between 5-7 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Supervisory or management experience.
In-depth knowledge of retail banking products and services.
Strong understanding of the competitive marketplace and trends in product offerings.
Knowledge of branch operations, policies, procedures and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

Lead and coach employees to deliver exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects.
Advise customers on products and strategies meeting their financial objectives.
Develop and execute a branch business plan to maximize growth and wallet share.
Build and maintain a local network and community partnerships for referrals.
Conduct cold calls to develop new customer relationships and drive revenue.
Monitor and improve sales and service performance against plan and address gaps.
