Job summary

BMO Financial Group in the United States is expanding DeNovo branches in Los Angeles. This Bank Manager position offers the opportunity to launch new locations, shape team culture, and drive client growth from day one.

You will guide and coach branch staff, build a local network, and develop plans to maximize revenue while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong customer experience.

Qualifications

• Typically 5–7 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent.
• Previous supervisory or management experience.
• In-depth knowledge of retail banking products and services.
• In-depth knowledge of the competitive marketplace and product trends.
• In-depth knowledge of branch operations, policies and technologies.
• Strong regulatory, audit and compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Builds interdependent teams that collaborate across groups to maximize branch value.
• Develops and executes a branch business plan to grow revenue and wallet share.
• Probes to understand customer banking needs and recommends solutions.
• Conducts cold calls to develop new customer relationships.
• Develops networks in the community to generate referrals.
