Job summary

Bobyard is seeking a detail-oriented Release Coordinator to join our product team in San Francisco. You’ll verify that bugs are truly fixed before notifying customers and internal teams, and you’ll craft clear launch updates for every release.

You’ll sit between engineering and customer-facing groups, own launch checklists, flag risks early, and ensure every release ships with honest communication to customers, CSMs, and sales.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years in a role combining technical coordination with customer-facing communication
• Fluent in Linear or Jira—daily use, not passing familiarity
• Ability to tailor updates for engineers and customers
• Comfort pushing back on engineers' claims when needed
• Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day truth of Linear—ensure every ticket has a real status and nothing slips
• Verify that fixed tickets are truly resolved before closure or communication
• Write and send launch communications for every release—clear, specific, no filler
• Build and run a standard launch checklist to involve marketing and CS before a release
• Coordinate directly with Platform engineers—be an in-ticket participant, not a summary
