Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or related discipline.
• 0‑2 years hands‑on experience with fluids and pneumatic systems or related flight hardware.
• Experience designing, troubleshooting, and operating fluid/pneumatic systems in operations.
• Ability to read drawings, P&ID schematics and test data.
• Capable of prioritizing tasks in a fast paced environment.
• Self‑motivated with initiative to ensure systems function at peak performance.
• Clear communication of complex tech to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior fluids engineers in operation, maintenance and testing of launch pad fluids and pneumatic systems.
• Participate in design reviews and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive upgrades and readiness.
• Support system integrity testing for launch campaigns.
• Lead troubleshooting and investigations of issues during operations/tests.
• Develop maintenance strategies to maximize system availability between missions.
• Write procedures for system operation, maintenance and vehicle testing.
