Job summary

Firefly Aerospace in Austin, TX is seeking a Launch Technician II to fabricate, operate and maintain launch site fluid and mechanical systems. You will join a small team requiring initiative and hands-on problem solving.

Responsibilities include reading P&ID diagrams, installing and troubleshooting fluid systems, performing calibration, and supporting launch day operations; travel to test sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years in mechanical or high‑pressure fluid systems.
• Experience with power/tools and calibrated tooling.
• Ability to pass background checks and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain fluid and mechanical systems per procedures.
• Read piping diagrams and shop drawings for installation and repair.
• Troubleshoot and calibrate equipment to performance standards.
• Support launch day operations and test activities.
• Travel to test and launch sites as required.
