Firefly Aerospace in Cedar Park, Texas is seeking a Principal Fluid Systems Engineer to lead the development and testing of flight fluid systems. You will oversee the full lifecycle from design to operation, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure system integrity and performance.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and over 10 years of relevant experience. Firefly offers great benefits including health plans and flexible PTO.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in aerospace fluid systems or propulsion.
• Strong foundation in cryogenics and propellant feed design.
• Experience with root cause investigations and system-level analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle development of flight fluid systems.
• Develop architectures to simplify manufacturing and reduce costs.
• Oversee qualification and acceptance test campaigns.
