Job summary

SpaceX seeks a Launch Pad Engineer, Fluid Systems (Falcon 9) in Vandenberg to lead pad fluid system design, build, and operations while ensuring safety and reliability. You will manage technicians, troubleshoot systems, and drive improvements across hardware and software interfaces.

You will interact with NASA and Space Force for certification and engineering data, contributing to uplifted efficiency and performance of the pad facilities under dynamic schedule pressures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace, chemical engineering, physics, or related field.
• 1+ years of experience with fluid, mechanical, or low voltage electrical systems.
• Experience at rocket launch/test facilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead technicians on launch pad fluid systems during build campaigns.
• Design, build, troubleshoot, and operate pad fluid systems.
• Coordinate with agencies (NASA, US Space Force) for certification data.
• Improve hardware, software, and procedures for pad systems.
• Present engineering data and certifications to stakeholders.
