Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a highly experienced Construction Superintendent to lead on-site construction operations for launch pad facilities and future upgrades. The role reports to the Senior Manager - Launch Infrastructure Development and involves supervising subcontractors, ensuring quality, and maintaining safety, with travel to launch sites as needed.

The candidate will coordinate daily activities, review construction methods with engineering teams, and keep detailed logs and progress

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or suitable experience commanding scope and scale.
• 10+ years of experience in construction supervision and field leadership.
• Ability to read and interpret complex construction documents and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of subcontractors on construction activities at the launch pad site.
• Coordinate daily construction operations, labor allocation, and equipment utilization.
• Implement quality control measures to meet standards and construction documents.
• Enforce site safety protocols per aerospace industry requirements.
• Monitor progress against schedule and resolve issues to protect milestones and budget.
• Review construction methodologies for launch infrastructure with engineering teams.
• Maintain daily logs, reports, and documentation.
• Identify and resolve field issues to maintain schedule and budgets.
