Job summary

Crain Buick GMC of Springdale seeks a Fleet & Rental Operations Director to launch and run a brand-new rental car and truck operation in Central Arkansas. This in-person, full-time role demands starting from scratch with ownership of systems, teams, and revenue growth.

You’ll lead daily rental operations, manage fleet, and build partnerships while reporting to ownership and shaping the customer experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in the rental car or fleet management space.
• Strong leadership and operations background.
• Tech-savvy with experience implementing rental or CRM platforms.
• Excellent communication, organization, and customer service instincts.

Responsibilities

• Launch and lead all day-to-day rental operations.
• Build and manage a high-performing team from scratch.
• Oversee fleet acquisition, maintenance, and utilization.
• Create systems for reservations, billing, and customer experience.
• Forge partnerships with service centers, dealerships, and insurance companies.
• Drive marketing strategy to grow customer base.
• Monitor KPIs, manage budgets, and report directly to ownership.
