Sally's Apizza in Connecticut is seeking an Assistant General Manager to build our new location from day one, shaping culture, hiring, and developing staff while delivering outstanding hospitality. You will work closely with the General Manager on daily operations, manage front- and back-of-house teams, mentor managers, and ensure adherence to Sally's standards in service, quality, and cost controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of proven restaurant management experience.
• ServeSafe certification is required.
• Strong computer skills with MS Office and restaurant software.
• Ability to stand for long hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the General Manager on daily front and back‑of‑house operations.
• Directly supervise staff and ensure hospitality excellence.
• Serve as GM when the GM is not on shift.
• Oversee labor, inventory, and vendor orders according to forecasts.
• Recruit, coach, and discipline hourly team members.
