Job summary

Sally’s Apizza in Farmington, CT is hiring an Assistant General Manager to lead daily operations and guest experiences from day one. You will partner with the General Manager to manage front- and back-of-house teams, uphold Sally’s standards, and drive hospitality excellence.

You will mentor junior managers, train hourly staff, and ensure smooth shifts while meeting forecasted sales, labor, and budget goals. This is a full-time, in-person role with a pathway to growth within the brand.

Qualifications

• Two years of proven restaurant management experience.
• ServeSafe Certified.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Brink POS.
• Experience using third-party delivery services.
• English required; basic Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand and embody Sally’s Apizza culture and brand history.
• Be the direct contact for front- and back-of-house staff on shifts.
• Act as General Manager in their absence.
• Know the store’s forecast, labor goals, and budgeted COGS.
• Mentor and coach managers to succeed in Sally’s restaurant environment.
• Train hourly staff to perform at a high level.
• Build relationships that foster loyalty and teamwork.
• Ensure SOPs are followed and guest issues resolved.
• Maintain dining room presence and smooth service flow.
• Lead pre-shift meetings and communicate updates to GM.
