Job summary

Syneos Health, Inc. is seeking a Territory Business Manager for a new Rare Disease GI/Hepatology team in Clinton, MD.

You will drive pull-through, deliver clinically focused presentations, and develop territory plans to exceed sales goals, collaborating with cross-functional partners. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in pharmaceutical sales, GI/Hepatology experience, strong analytical skills, and the autonomy to operate in a matrix environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Business or related field.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience.
• 3+ years of GI/Hepatology/rare disease sales experience preferred.
• Experience calling on Gastroenterologists/Hepatologists in the designated territory geography preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and/or exceed sales goals in assigned territory by developing, implementing and executing an integrated territory plan.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with targeted physicians to maximize new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners in a matrix environment (FRMs, TLLs, Market Access, Medical, Marketing, Operations).
• Identify key influencers and achieve designated interaction expectations with top target customers.
• Use data tools and insights to determine strategies and tactics for business decision-making.
