Job summary

Village Whiskey in Philadelphia seeks a prep cook to join a fast-paced scratch kitchen within Garces Hospitality. The role welcomes both part-time and full-time schedules, with competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits program including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance plus voluntary benefits.

You will support line cooks, manage ticket orders for proteins, ensure proper temps, and maintain cleanliness and proper sanitation at a well-equipped kitchen station.

Qualifications

• 1 year of kitchen/culinary/chef experience preferred.
• Experience with knives, slicer, mixer, stoves and ovens.

Responsibilities

• Operate line and prep station in a fast-paced scratch kitchen.
• Ensure proper food temperatures and adherence to company specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized station and follow sanitation protocols.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as required.
