Qualifications

• Requires average math skills and ability to read English instructions.
• Physically able to lift and position heavy items.
• Must follow timekeeping policies and company rules.
• Ability to stand for long shifts in a non-climate-controlled shop.
• Learn basic machining concepts and use measuring devices.
• Collaborate with team to optimize production processes.
• Maintain attention to detail to ensure quality.
• Demonstrate dependability and consistent performance.
• Be precise and adaptable to changing production needs.

Responsibilities

• Follow production instructions from process sheets, blueprints, or verbal directions provided by the supervisor to achieve desired outcomes in the manufacturing process.
• Install machine fixtures to align and secure dies, punches, blades, or other fixtures for safe operation.
• Operate machines such as lathes, mills, drills, presses, and CNC equipment per specifications.
• Inspect finished parts with calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify tolerances and quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and adhere to PPE and safety regulations; assist in other areas as needed.
