Qualifikationen

• Must have MPCTC certification or retired in good standing within last two years.
• Out-of-state academy curricula may be reviewed with hourly breakdown.
• Must be a US citizen and possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to pass a medical examination.
• Must be in good standing at current agency or recently retired in good standing.
• Must pass a comprehensive background investigation, psychological screening and polygraph.

Aufgaben

• Patrol duties by vehicle and on foot and enforce laws.
• Intervene in fights, restrain suspects, and conduct arrests as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and provide basic medical aid when required.
• Conduct investigations, preserve crime scenes, and collect evidence.
• Prepare reports, warrants, and statements with clear grammar and math.
• Direct traffic, perform traffic stops, and issue citations.
• Attend community meetings and establish rapport with the public.
• Participate in security surveys and maintain equipment.
