Baltimore County is seeking Police Cadets in Towson, MD. Applicants must be aged 18-20 to start; those 20 years 4 months or older should apply for the Police Officer position.

The role provides training through the Baltimore County Police Academy and a pathway to sworn service. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications including high school diploma or equivalent, pass written and physical tests, background check, psychological screening, polygraph, and drug test; possession of a valid Maryland

Formación

• Must be at least 18 and under 21 at appointment; applicants 20 years 4 months or older should apply for Police Officer position.
• Pass a written examination.
• Pass a physical agility test.
• Pass a physical examination.
• Pass a comprehensive background investigation, psychological screening, polygraph, and drug test.
• Must be a U.S. citizen at time of appointment.
• Possess a valid Maryland driver’s license (class C noncommercial) at appointment.

Responsabilidades

• Under close supervision, training for a variety of police field and administrative support functions prior to employment as a Cadet.
• Provide routine office support and public assistance as part of the department’s operations.
