A&O Shearman in New York is actively seeking an Attorney Recruitment Coordinator to support lateral attorney recruitment across the U.S. offices.

This role partners with the Attorney Recruitment Director and Manager to drive hiring, onboarding and integration initiatives for non-partner lateral attorneys. The successful candidate will coordinate interview processes, review candidate materials, draft offers, and help manage orientation.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years of legal recruiting/talent management experience in a law firm or other professional services setting.
• Sophisticated strategic and analytical thinking, drive, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with personnel at all levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule that may require travel and extended hours.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and facilitate interview process for lateral associate and counsel recruitment and staff recruitment as needed.
• Assist with the lateral hiring process including reviewing resumes, evaluating candidates, and drafting offers.
• Collaborate with HR, Professional Development and other stakeholders to manage orientation and onboarding for lateral hires.
• Communicate with and provide updates to search firms and candidates.
• Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System and related department reports.
• Handle other projects and responsibilities as assigned.
