Job summary

K&N is seeking a Territory Sales Manager for LATAM to drive regional growth across multiple countries. You will lead distributor networks, build annual plans with targets, and coordinate with US HQ for retail accounts.

You will manage cross-functional collaboration, prepare quarterly reviews, and travel within LATAM as needed to achieve sales and margin goals.

Qualifications

  • Fluent Spanish and English (spoken and written).
  • 5+ years experience in territory sales or account management.
  • Strong background in the automotive aftermarket (consumables strongly preferred).
  • Proven experience managing distributor-led markets across multiple countries.
  • Strong commercial skills: forecasting, negotiation, and business planning.
  • Analytical and data-driven approach to sales management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Willing and able to travel extensively within LATAM.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Beneficial Portuguese (Brazil).
  • Prior experience with filtration, fluids, or similar technical consumables.
  • Experience operating from a US or European hub with LATAM responsibility.
  • Exposure to emerging or developing markets.

Responsibilities

  • Drive K&N’s sales growth, profitability, and market development across the LATAM region
  • Manage commercial relationships with regional distribution networks throughout LATAM
  • Support key retail accounts in Mexico where commercial leadership is owned by US HQ partners
  • Develop and execute annual territory plans by country, including sales targets, forecasts, distributor priorities, product and assortment strategies, and travel cadence
  • Lead Joint Business Planning with key distributors
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new distributor partners
  • Deliver sales, unit, and gross margin targets across K&N’s vehicle categories
  • Drive sell-through acceleration with distributors
  • Own promotional alignment and product mix management
  • Lead category growth through distributor sales training, application and fitment education, and competitive positioning
  • Support new product introductions and range extensions
  • Activate online excellence, trade shows, distributor promotions, and digital and point-of-sale initiatives
  • Prepare and present Quarterly Business Reviews covering results, wins, risks, forecasts, and market insights
  • Act as the commercial voice of LATAM internally, working with Sales Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance
  • Report to the Senior Territory Sales Manager EMEA/LATAM
  • Travel within Latin America once a month, potentially up to 50% if business conditions require
