Job summary

Abbott is seeking an Assistant Controller, Latin America, to drive financial performance across the region. You will partner with affiliate teams, define forecasting, ensure governance under US GAAP, and lead a dispersed finance team.

This role focuses on margin expansion, productivity initiatives, and development of finance talent across Latin America, reporting to regional leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive finance roles.
• Experience in multinational and matrix organizations.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional planning cycles and forecasts.
• Direct regional reporting and month-end close processes.
• Consolidate and analyze LATAM results and trends.
• Deliver executive-level financial presentations and recommendations.
• Drive productivity, margin expansion, and working capital optimization.
• Develop and mentor a dispersed finance team.
