Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Perrysburg, OH is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a salaried and hourly team, drive safety, quality, and delivery performance, and make data-driven improvements across the operation.

You will mentor staff, manage cross-functional collaboration with Safety, Loss Prevention and HR, and coordinate with site teams to meet customer delivery promises. The role requires flexible scheduling including weekends and overnights.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your team
• Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact
• Create and implement productivity plans through forecast reviews, determining productivity requirements, and partnering with other Leaders to load balance
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
• Collaborate with all support teams including Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives
• Lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach, as well as continuously climb and descend stairs
• Work in an environment where the noise level varies and is subject to variable temperatures and weather
• Work a flexible schedule (weekends and/or overnight shifts)
