Job summary

Damco Spain SL is looking for an Assistant Manager for their Last Mile facility in Franklin, MA. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing delivery operations, maintaining vendor relations, and ensuring communication flow between teams. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in Logistics or Supply Chain and possess strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

The position requires on-site work 5 days a week, and offers a salary range of $60,000 to $65,000 annually along with various benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains relations with vendors, stores, and independent contractors.
• Ensures follow-up on shipping discrepancies.
• Responsible for coordinating flow of communication between teams.
• Oversees in-home delivery and dispatches trucks using GPS.
• Maintains monthly operating reports including statistics and scores.
