Job summary

Maersk is seeking an Operations Support Associate in the United States (California) to assist day-to-day dispatch operations for Last Mile delivery services. The role collaborates with delivery teams, customers, and providers to ensure timely communication, compliance, and successful delivery execution.

The candidate will monitor routes, handle escalations, maintain records, and support cross-functional stakeholders with strong communication and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years experience in customer service or operations support.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Able to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound phone calls, emails, and messages while providing a high level of customer service.
• Monitor daily delivery operations and track progress to ensure on-time service.
• Manage escalations with professionalism and urgency.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders regarding updates and issues.
• Perform real-time audits of delivery activity and data.
• Assist with administrative functions including email, reporting, scheduling, and filing.
• Monitor compliance with operational procedures and report exceptions.
• Exercise sound judgment addressing issues during limited supervision.
• Utilize transportation management systems and routing software to support daily activities.
• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks with accuracy.
• Support effective communication across teams and partners.
• Maintain professionalism in time-sensitive situations.
