Qualifications

Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Electro-Optics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics with some prior relevant experience.
Experience with lasers, sources, optics, electro-optics, detectors, cameras, calibration equipment, and diagnostic equipment is required.
Experience with measuring and analyzing data and writing test reports.

Responsibilities

Design, build, align, and calibrate testbeds and test equipment.
Design, build, and test hardware using SolidWorks.
Modify and develop data acquisition tools using LabVIEW.
Modify and develop data reduction and analysis tools using MATLAB or Excel.
Understand programming techniques for image processing.
Work independently and in a team.
