Job summary

Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) invites continuing undergraduate scholars to join the Laser Systems Engineering & Operations Division, supporting projects in electrical, mechanical, optical, and computational engineering. You will gain hands-on experience through research, design, data analysis, and poster preparation for the Summer Poster Symposium.

Working with engineers, scientists, and staff, you will contribute to practical experiments, data collection, and interpretation

Qualifications

• Must be a continuing college or university scholar in good standing.
• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in engineering, physics, optics, CS, or related field.
• Ability to apply basic engineering or scientific principles to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and/or research support in related engineering fields.
• Participate in research under close supervision.
• Gather and analyze data to support scientific research.
• Attend seminars and prepare a poster for the Summer Poster Symposium.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
