Job summary

Cynosure, Inc. is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to support laser systems and related electronics at customer sites or service centers in Maryland.

Responsibilities include repair, test, calibrate and install laser subsystems, maintain service records, provide on-site support, travel up to 50% and possibly international travel, and uphold safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in electronics or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant field service experience in the medical electronics industry.
• Experience troubleshooting medical electronics equipment.
• Proficient with DOS, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Repair, test, calibrate and install laser systems, sub-systems and/or sub-assemblies.
• Report potential problems to supervisor or senior technician.
• Maintain complete and accurate service records.
• Interact with customers and monitor accounts.
• Provide on-site technical support at customer sites and service centers.
• Travel up to 50% for on-site service and workshops; possible international travel.
