Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Technician to support production with hands-on care of laser and robotics/automation equipment. You will assist with setup, maintenance, optics alignment, and day-to-day coverage for key technologies to sustain manufacturing capability.

You will collaborate with engineering, maintenance, quality, and operations to resolve issues, drive process improvements, and comply with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or high school diploma/GED required.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment, lasers, robotics, or optics.
• Ability to read technical documentation and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support for laser and robotics equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to improve reliability and uptime.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues across manufacturing technologies.
• Support equipment setup and startup for production needs.
• Document maintenance and technical support activities per site requirements.
