Job summary

GE Aerospace in Wisconsin is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Technician to provide hands-on support for laser and robotics/automation equipment used in critical manufacturing processes. You will help ensure reliable operation and long-term capability development.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, setup support, optics alignment, and day-to-day coverage for technologies that operators cannot own.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited university or a high school diploma/GED from an accredited school or institution

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support for laser and robotics/automation equipment used in manufacturing operations.
• Perform and support preventive maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability, uptime, and long-term capability sustainment.
• Troubleshoot equipment, system, and process issues involving lasers, robotics/automation, optics, alignment, cleaning, and casting completion technologies.
• Support equipment setup, startup, recovery, and day-to-day production needs across the shop.
