GE Aerospace seeks an Advanced Manufacturing Technician to work closely with manufacturing engineers and associates to troubleshoot, resolve process issues, and develop new processes and improvements. The role supports production with hands-on problem solving and SOP development.

The position emphasizes root cause analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and adherence to quality and safety standards in a 12-hour Fri-Sun night shift, with opportunities for growth and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of technical field experience.
• Experience with machine PLCs and control systems.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead role in resolving manufacturing technical issues through root cause analysis.
• Bridge between production associates and process engineers for advanced problem solving.
• Serve as primary line of defense for process and machine issues on the shop floor.
• Develop and maintain SOPs; train and sign off production staff.
• Perform machine and process qualifications; interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Interface with machine OEMs and internal contacts to convey requirements.
